Who we are and scope
This Privacy Policy explains how MaxPoints LLC, doing business as MaxPoints (“MaxPoints,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), handles personal information in MaxNova, including business planning, AI-assisted recommendations and naming, membership benefits, and project launch handoffs. It applies to this website and related MaxNova services that link to it. Other connected services may have their own privacy policies.
Information we collect
Account information: when you sign in with a MaxAuth account, we receive identifiers such as your name, email address, and account ID, and your membership status.
Business information: the problems, ideas, business briefs, goals, selected opportunities, rationale, spending limits, names, domain searches, contact details, and growth progress you enter or approve.
Usage and device information: pages viewed, actions taken (for example, creating a business, saving a draft, searching a domain, or starting a launch handoff), and basic technical data such as browser type and approximate location derived from your connection.
Billing information: when you purchase a membership or project plan, payment is handled by our payment processor. We receive order details and status, not your full card number.
How we use information
We use information to provide and secure the Services, save and display your businesses, generate recommendations and names, check domain availability, carry out launch instructions you approve, process purchases, provide support, prevent abuse and enforce usage limits, measure and improve the Services, and comply with law. We do not sell your personal information.
AI processing
To generate recommendations, names, and growth guidance, the business information you submit for that request is sent to AI providers acting as our service providers. We also save the questions you were asked and your answers with each request, linked to your account when you are signed in, so later advice can build on them. We share only what is needed for the feature, and we apply usage limits to protect the Services. Do not include information in your brief that you do not want processed this way, such as sensitive personal data, credentials, or other people’s confidential information. AI output can be inaccurate; see our AI disclaimer for details.
Analytics, cookies, and consent
We use a first-party session cookie to keep you signed in, and analytics to understand how the Services are used. Analytics events are sent to MaxChef, our analytics and project platform, and only when analytics consent is accepted. When analytics is accepted, we also keep a session entry in your browser’s local storage (a key ending in :session) that holds a random session ID and the time of your last activity, so we can group your page views and events into one visit. If you have previously rejected analytics, we respect that choice. You can change your choice by clearing site data in your browser. Blocking the sign-in cookie will prevent you from signing in.
How we share information
We share information only as described here: with service providers that host our infrastructure and database, provide AI processing, process payments, deliver email, and supply analytics; with MaxAuth to authenticate you; with MaxChef and connected services when you choose to launch a project, in which case the selected brief and supporting information are provided to carry out your instructions; with domain services when you search for or register a domain; to comply with law or protect rights and safety; and in connection with a merger, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this policy. Providers may use information only to serve us.
Retention
We keep information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services, meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Backups may persist for a limited period after deletion.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encrypted connections and access controls. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Protect your account credentials and report suspected unauthorized access to us.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. You may appeal a denial by replying to our response. You can also manage analytics consent as described above.
Children
The Services are intended for adults 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will delete it.
International processing
We operate in the United States, and your information may be processed there and in other countries where our providers operate, which may have different data protection laws than your location.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Services or legal requirements change. We will revise the last-updated date and give notice of material changes before they take effect where required by law.
